Almost every IRB deals with research involving participants with diminished capacity to consent, in projects that either directly study such populations or affect them incidentally. This webinar will describe the AAHRPP requirements for research involving participants with diminished capacity to consent, what researchers should know and plan for, and how IRBs should review and approve such research.
